Isn’t it time to find your new best friend? Come visit us at 16 Mountain View Meadow Road (Route 100) in Morrisville, VT, or visit NCAL animals up for adoption through our Petfinder partnership (see the link below).
What do you need to do to adopt? Fill out our adoption form. (See link below.) We require four references, your vet’s name and number, and either proof of home ownership or a copy of your lease along with your landlord’s name and number. If everything checks out, you will be scheduled for an adoption orientation, when a shelter associate will talk you through the adoption packet filled with information to ease your transition to pet caretaking. You can even buy a leash and collar for your new friend in the NCAL store. A fee is charged for adoption to help pay for the care of the dog or cat during their stay at NCAL. The average stay for a dog or cat at NCAL is 21 days. The average cost of an animal during this time is $725. This includes medical care, food, shelter, exercise, spaying and neutering, microchipping and unlimited love. (See our Adoption Fees below.)
