Come ride the scenic countryside of Stowe, Vermont!

NCAL’s 2010 ride for the animals will be held Sunday August 22, 2010 beginning at the Commodore’s Inn on Route 100 in the Lower Village, Stowe, VT.

The annual Pedal for Paws event offers a choice of three classic bicycle rides through the scenic countryside of North Central Vermont, starting in Stowe and traveling through quaint villages and rolling farmland. The route is strategically designed to avoid big hill climbs but still afford major views of the Green and Worcester mountain ranges. There is enough challenge to satisfy all levels of cyclist.

New in 2010 is the addition of two mountain bike trail rides throughout the wooded hills of Stowe. There are separate rides for both the recreational and advanced mountain bike riders. These rides will be led by our local mountain bike guides.

All participants are asked to collect pledges from friends, family or any animal lover to support the homeless dogs and cats sheltered by NCAL. All proceeds go directly to benefit the animals.

Following the rides will be a BBQ, music and a raffle at the Commodores Inn. The BBQ is free for riders, $25 for non-rider adults and $15 for non-rider children. See you at the Commodores Inn on Sunday, August 22nd!
