Calling all dog walkers, cat cuddlers, laundry whizzes, event organizers and general worker bees. North Country Animal League can’t exist without your help. We are always in need of shelter volunteers, foster families, and volunteers for help on events. We also need educational volunteers to help with our summer camp and our weekly school and community programs. Just give us a call at (802) 888-5065, ext. 101 or 106 to tell us you are interested. We will let you know when the next volunteer orientation is scheduled and then we’ll put you to work.

No cost spay/neuter in exchange for volunteer labor:

This program allows us to reward volunteers for helping care for hundreds of animals each year and helps solve the problem of cat and dog overpopulation at the same time. If you would like a spay/neuter in exchange for your help, you will be assigned a specific job and a certain number of scheduled hours to complete. Once the volunteer hours are completed, a certificate will be issued that will be honored by area veterinarians. Vaccinations are not included in this program.
