PRIVATE AND SEMI PRIVATE LESSONS

Some dogs need a little more attention when learning new skills! Other dogs might be a little overwhelmed in large groups!  If that is the case for your four-legged best friend, private or semi-private lessons might be the best fit! Semi private lessons are structured like our group classes but are limited to 2-3 dogs per lesson!  These lessons are perfect for families and friends who want to improve their dogs’ behavior and have some fun together while doing it! Our private lessons offer the most one-on-one interaction with our trainer and are a great way to work on obedience work as well as any behavioral issues that might come up over the course of your dog’s life!  Our trainer customizes all private lessons to match the needs of each dog so no lesson is ever the same!  These classes can be purchased individually or in a package.  Questions or thoughts? Please email training@ncal.com or sign up for a 30 minute behavior consultation with our trainer to see what is the best fit for your family.

Meet our Trainer, Brooke Willett!

Brooke grew up right here, in Morrisville, Vermont.  Driven by her love of all things equine she moved to Lexington, KY in 2016 to attend the University of Kentucky (Go Cats!).  She graduated in 2020 with a B.S in Animal Science and a B.S in Equine Science & Management.  During her time at the University of Kentucky, she joined Wildcat Service Dogs, a student organization dedicated to the raising and training of puppies on their journey to becoming service dogs.  During her time in the organization, she was the Director of Fundraising, the Vice President, and the Training Supervisor for the organization, and trained a dog herself.  Following her time at UK she worked as a Veterinary Technician in Lexington, KY while also teaching private and group canine training classes. Brooke has always had a passion for training and understanding animal behavior.  Growing up, she rode horses and competed in the hunter/jumper divisions.  While at UK she continued working with horses, with a focus on humane handling, understanding equine behavior, and using this understanding to better training and horsemanship practices. Brooke lives in Morrisville with her family and her chocolate lab Wrigley!
