After School Equine Academy

October 6 – May 31 | 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm

$250 per month | Ages 9-14 | 6 spots

*Will not meet November 24th, March 1st, or April 26th*

This program is designed for community riding students looking to further their equine education outside of the saddle. We’ll explore different ways to work with and understand horses, from ground driving, to body work, to lessons in equine science. Not only will these students develop a broader set of equine-related skills and knowledge, but they’ll each have the chance to teach their peers newly learned skills as a way to solidify their own learning. This is the perfect program for kids who are passionate about their equine companions and looking to invest more time and energy into recognizing the myriad of lessons horses have to offer, even when we aren’t on their backs. While students should not expect to ride, they should come prepared to handle horses, in proper footwear, clothing, and gloves (optional but recommended).

Our weekly equine academy programs will continue through May. You have the option to have registration automatically renewed each month, by checking the appropriate box on the registration form.
