At long last the time has come for Rogue to be adopted! After spending 301 days at North Country Animal League, Rogue has finally found her perfect match. Rogue touched so many of us during her long stay in the shelter. She would take volunteers for long jaunts around the property, taking her time to stop and sniff every flower; she maintained own travel blog which was based on her many adventures off-site with Dani; she enjoyed curling up and listening to numerous stories from NCAL Reading Buddies week after week; visiting PK Coffee in Stowe for her special Puppuccino (a cup of whipped cream) last fall; and her numerous visits to senior care facilities to bring joy to the residents. Rogue shared her kind and gentle spirit with everyone she met – young and old – and never allowed her circumstances to get her down. She brought so much joy to all of us here at NCAL and we will miss her, but wish her the most happiness and love with her new family!
A special thank you to all the volunteers, Reading Buddies, sponsors, staff and visitors who helped Rogue along the way on her journey to find her forever home! We hear that she is now enjoying being read bedtime stories by kids of her very own!
