Dog Walker Volunteer

Dog Walkers at NCAL provide exercise and enrichment for our dogs. Leash walks are the main form of exercise for NCAL dogs and it is crucial for their overall health and wellbeing during their stay to go out on walks as much as possible! There are also basic obedience training opportunities to help NCAL dogs learn skills like leash walking, healing, staying, and sitting. This enrichment can shorten a dog’s stay and help dogs become more adoptable! Read the full description, essential functions and required qualifications below or view PDF HERE>>.
