About Licorice
Licorice is a gorgeous girl searching for her people! Licorice is an independent lady who was found as a stray. Licorice has been used to living life on her own and fending for herself. She was placed in a foster home before coming to NCAL where she was introduced to a home environment and connecting with people. Licorice loves treats and is very food motivated. You can easily win her over with some cookies! She knows a solid sit, and has been making progress on ‘down’ and ‘off’. Licorice will be one fun pup to train as she is very eager to please and can focus with treats! Licorice is strong and athletic and would be best with a confident dog handler for walking on leash. If you’re looking for a active buddy to join you on walks, hikes, or runs, Licorice is your girl! If you are interested in providing a forever home for Licorice, please submit an adoption questionnaire below.
History with Dogs/Cats/Children
Dogs: Licorice has been reactive towards other dogs here at NCAL. We would not recommend her living with another dog, but she may be able to have dog friends once she adjusts into her new home.
*If you have another dog, our counselors would be happy to facilitate a “meet-&-greet” here at NCAL to get a sense of how they will get along & provide guidance.
Cats: Unknown history with cats
Children: Unknown history with children
*When introducing a new pet to your household, an adult should be supervising any interactions with a child or another pet.
