Other Ways to Contribute
A gift to our Annual Fund is critical to NCAL’s long-term sustainability as NCAL relies solely on private donations to cover the majority of our annual operating budget.
Memorial and Honorary Gift
Sometimes, people choose to make a gift in honor of a beloved pet, a loved one who has passed away, or in recognition of a special occasion such as a birthday, wedding, or holiday. When such gifts are made, we will send notification to the recipient or family members telling them of your thoughtful memorial or honorary gift.
Emergency Medical Fund
Help provide extraordinary medical care to an NCAL shelter animal in need. If you have any questions about how to donate to our Emergency Medical Fund please contact Aileen Walden at (802) 888-5065 x 106 or by email at email@example.com.
Another way to give is to give weekly or monthly automatically through a Payroll Deduction Plan. The amount you indicate is subtracted from your salary and sent to NCAL. A gift of $1 a week or $5 a week adds up to gifts of $52 or $260 a year. A Planned Giving Gift can be automatically sent to NCAL from your bank account each month. Please contact our Executive Director, Aileen Walden, at (802) 888-5065 x 106 for more information and to sign up.
Many companies will match employee and retiree contributions to nonprofit organizations like North Country Animal League. You may be able to double the impact of your gift by contacting your company’s human resources department to obtain a matching gift form. Please enclose the appropriate form with your donation. We will do the rest.
A gift of appreciated stocks or mutual funds is tax deductible at full fair market value at the time of the gift with no capital gains tax. Most donors find this is a way to make a more generous gift than might be possible otherwise.
