On Sunday, February 19th, we gave a warm welcome to three rescue dogs, Phantom, Star, and Tyler, who flew into the Morrisville Airport. Their lifesaving journey was made possible by three volunteer pilots (Don, Jeff, and Toby) through Pilots N Paws who each flew the dogs a leg of the trip from Tarboro, NC to Morrisville, in partnership with the SPCA Alliance of NC.

This marked NCAL’s first dog air transport, a long-time goal of ours that is exciting to see come to fruition. We are looking forward to future efforts to move at-risk animals from overcrowded shelters in the south to find their forever homes here in Vermont.

Phantom is a one-year-old happy boy who was found living on the streets. He has a great smile, loves treats, and is looking forward to living his best life in Vermont. Star is a sweet 6-month-old female who loves to snuggle and Tyler is an affectionate one–year–old who can’t wait to meet and play with new dog friends.

The three lucky dogs will soon be available for adoption; help us welcome them and follow their journey!
