Dogs and their well-behaved humans are invited to the fido-friendly Topnotch Resort’s casual restaurant to have a refreshing craft beverage, a cool bowl of water, delicious treats (for humans and dogs) through Tuesday, August 21, 2018. A portion of the Yappy Hour event proceeds will be donated to the NCAL to support the sheltering homeless animals, adoption, education and outreach, spay/neuter, and cruelty prevention programs.
Yappy Hour guests will enjoy a tail-wagging good time with their four-legged friends during these doggy-inspired monthly events. The Roost will offer beer and menu specials, as well as a signature cocktail, crafted especially with dog-lovers in mind. Yappy Hour at The Roost will be the place for food and beverages, plus special guests who will be on-hand to share valuable information with dog-moms and dog-dads.
This unique event kicks off on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, with each dog receiving a mini-box of Wagathas Biscuits (while supplies last). In July, a special K9 dog trainer will be on-hand offering dog training advice, and the final Yappy Hour in August will host photographer, Danielle Visco, who will share tips and tricks for capturing fantastic BFF (Best Furry Friend) photos. There may even be some surprise local doggie celebrities attending so make sure to attend every month!
Yappy Hour will also feature dog-themed giveaways and contests, such as “Best Dressed Dog,” “Dog That Looks Most Like Their Human,” and possibly some fun Dog Yoga, led by one of Topnotch Spa’s incredible yoga instructors. Guests who haven’t been adopted by a lovable canine can still have fun with a four-legged friend as the North Country Animal League will bring adoptable dogs for playtime. Come for Yappy Hour and leave with a best friend for a lifetime!
This bark-tastic good time takes place at Topnotch Resort’s lobby bar, The Roost, which features contemporary American fare created with Vermont’s freshest ingredients. It’s the perfect place to bring a dog to meet up and hang out with friends and their pups. Dogs can curl up with their people in the outdoor patio living room, under a pergola, near a fire pit, or play on the lawn.
